ACCOLADE GLOBAL FILM COMPETITION

Neil has won a prestigious Award of Recognition from The Accolade Global Film Competition. The award was given for Neil’s riveting video, What In Tbe World Is The World Coming To – a profound and penetrating reflection of the troubling times we face during worsening and worrisome events, encapsulating the unraveling of the threads of democracy. It is a stark reminder of the world's harsh realities and the ever-growing sea of lies. 

The video is a collaboration between Neil – lyricist, vocalist, video director and executive producer, music composer Michael Gogol of Germany, and video producer Jody Matheson of Hamilton, the video features galvanic Electro Pop music composed by Michael, dramatic images captured and presented by Jody, and forceful Dylanesque-like lyrics written and performed by Neil in his insistent 'born in the dust' vocals. The compelling and riveting video delivers a ringing message defining the uncertain, challenging and perilous times we are in.

In winning an Accolade, Neil, Michael and Jody join the ranks of other high-profile winners of this internationally respected award including the Oscar winning production of The Lady in Number Six by Malcolm Clarke, the very talented Dave Bossert of Disney for his short documentary, The Tunes Behind The Toons, Hollywood industry veteran Ron Howard for When You Find Me and Highwire Films Australia for their popular ABC TV series twentysomething
